Position Overview
We are looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to create qualified sales conversations through thoughtful, account-based prospecting and follow-up.
In this role, you'll work from defined target account lists, campaign engagement, events, referrals, content activity, previous sales conversations, and other meaningful buying signals. Your goal is to understand why an account is worth contacting, identify the right stakeholders, and initiate relevant conversations that can progress into workshops, paid engagements, and larger sales opportunities.
This is not a high-volume, cold-calling role. Success is measured by creating qualified, sales-ready opportunities—not simply activity volume.
Responsibilities
- Research target accounts, key stakeholders, business priorities, and buying signals.
- Execute personalized outbound outreach through email, LinkedIn, phone, video, events, and other channels.
- Develop tailored messaging based on meaningful account insights.
- Follow up with prospects who engage through webinars, workshops, events, content, campaigns, and other marketing initiatives.
- Execute structured prospecting and account activation playbooks.
- Engage multiple stakeholders within target accounts when appropriate.
- Build relationships with marketing, sales, demand generation, and revenue leaders.
- Qualify prospects based on account fit, business needs, timing, stakeholder involvement, and buying intent.
- Convert interested prospects into qualified meetings, workshops, and sales opportunities.
- Provide Account Executives with detailed qualification notes and engagement history.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, account activity, and pipeline updates.
- Test messaging, outreach strategies, and engagement approaches.
- Share customer feedback, objections, and market insights with Sales and Marketing teams.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and Revenue Operations to improve pipeline generation.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in Sales Development, Business Development, Outbound Sales, or a similar role.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Experience with outbound prospecting via email, LinkedIn, and phone.
- Strong account research and prospecting skills.
- Ability to communicate confidently with senior-level decision-makers.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience using HubSpot or another CRM platform.
- Ability to follow established sales processes while continuously improving them.
- Interest in B2B sales, account-based marketing (ABM), and pipeline generation.
- Coachable, proactive, and comfortable receiving feedback.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote environment.
