About the Role
The WebOps WordPress Developer will focus on diagnosing and resolving issues across hosting environments, plugins, integrations, and performance systems. You'll be the go-to expert for site outages, server errors, plugin conflicts, and performance optimization, ensuring websites remain stable, fast, and functional.

Responsibilities

  • Implement smaller feature updates and fixes when needed, working within custom PHP/ACF templates, Gutenberg-based themes, and page builder environments
  • Own issues from identification through resolution, communicating clearly about root causes, fixes, and preventative steps
  • Partner with internal teams and escalate when deeper engineering support is needed

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of WordPress experience (agency experience preferred)
  • Strong troubleshooting ability across PHP errors, plugin conflicts, and front-end issues (HTML/CSS/JS)
  • Comfortable reading logs and debugging issues end-to-end
  • Experience with WP Engine or similar hosting platforms, DNS, domains, SSL, CDN, and caching systems
  • Experience troubleshooting site outages, server errors, SMTP/email delivery issues, and performance tools like NitroPack
  • Experience with ACF-based custom themes, Gutenberg environments, and Gravity Forms
  • Strong understanding of WordPress fundamentals (hooks, filters, etc.)

  • Work remotely from anywhere in LATAM
  • Flexible PTO
  • Be part of a team that values growth, collaboration, and innovation
